The Suzuki teaching method was developed for the young student beginning at age four. This positive approach also works well for children of all ages and adults.

Instruction includes weekly 30 minute private lessons, recitals and monthly performance group. Students learn to play the piano, compose and understand music history and theory at their level. Younger students enjoy playing in school Share Days or Talent Shows and older students enjoy playing in church, at special occasions, accompanying, and do very well in State Music Festival competition.

Self confidence, motivation, self discipline, persistence, memory development, music appreciation and qualifying for music scholarships are all side benefits of this process.

Parents, either Mom, Dad or both, are included in the lesson and participate in home practice. This is a fun way to learn for all involved. Groups often integrate seasonal themes, such as a Halloween costume party and Christmas traditional music and foods. Enjoying family and friends at music night and reward pizza parties are also great!
